Abstract

RAMIREZ-SOTOMAYOR, Julio; PFINGST, Carlos; RAMIREZ, Marcelo  and  ZUAREZ, Magali. Videolaparoscopic bisegmentectomies in hepatic hydatidosis: Presentation of two cases. Cir. parag. [online]. 2019, vol.43, n.3, pp.32-33. ISSN 2307-0420.  https://doi.org/10.18004/sopaci.2019.diciembre.32-33.

Liver hydatidosis is still a pathology not very common in our country but always present. In our hospital we continuously receive patients with this pathology, combining the resolution strategies, most cases of surgical resolution, being the laparoscopic video cystectomy of choice the most frequent. In some cases, the size allows PAIR (Punction, Aspiration, Injection and Re-aspiration) or PEVAC (percutaneous evacuation), but in a smaller number of patients. The presented cases (2 two) will show that the elective treatment was videolaparoscopic bisegmentectomies due to the large size of the hydatid cysts.

Keywords : Liver Hydatidosis; hepatectomy; surgical treatment.
