Resumen

PARQUET, Guido et al. BILOMA: RESOLUTION BY MINIMUM INVASION. Rev. Cir. Parag. [online]. 2018, vol.42, n.2, pp.31-33. ISSN 2307-0420.  https://doi.org/10.18004/sopaci.2018.agosto.31-33.

The biloma is a collection of bile external to the bile duct. Its origin has to do with the leakage of bile secondary to injury to the biliary tree or pressure increase usually secondary to residual lithiasis. It has nonspecific symptoms, many of them related to the compression effect. Although most cases resolve spontaneously, in other cases percutaneous drainage is a valid alternative. We present the clinical case of a male patient with a history of laparoscopic cholecystectomy 6 months before admission, who developed a liver collection that caused compressive digestive symptoms. Imaging studies and percutaneous drainage were performed under ultrasound guidance. Good post procedure evolution, total disappearance of the collection 3 weeks later.

Palabras clave : biloma; cholecystectomy; percutaneous drainage.
