ABSTRACT Solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura, constitutes 10% of primary tumors of the pleura with origin in the submesothelial connective tissue. The behavior can be benign or malignant, being approximately 10-20% of malignant nature. The treatment of choice is the surgycal resection, considering itself in case of malignancy, the adyuvant treatment using bevacizumab and temozolomida with good results.
