BARBOZA, Juan; MARTINEZ, Evert; FERREIRA, Miguel  y  RAMIREZ, Julio. INTRADUCTAL PAPILLARY MUCINOUS NEOPLASM. A CASE REPORT. Rev. Cir. Parag. [online]. 2017, vol.41, n.3, pp.39-41. ISSN 2307-0420.  https://doi.org/10.18004/sopaci.diciembre.39-41.

Intraductal papilloma mucinous neoplasm (NIPM) was first described in 1982 by Ohashi as a neoplasm of the pancreas characterized by a proliferation of neoplastic mucinous cells that form papillae and cause dilatation of the main duct or its branches. It most frequently affects the male sex between 60 and 70 years, with symptoms of chronic pancreatitis or recurrent acute pancreatitis and is preferably located in the head and uncinate process. The treatment of these neoplasms located in the head or uncinate process of the pancreas is the duodenum cephalic pancreatectomy. We report one patient, with a cystic lesion of the head of symptomatic pancreas.

Palabras clave : intraductal pancreatic neoplasm; duodenopancreatectomy.
