Objective.

Submit the casuistry obtained in the Plastic Surgery Unit of the Hospital of Clinics, in relation to the reconstruction of the internal edge of lesions.

Materials and methods.

Descriptive, observational, cross-sectional and analytical. Were included in this study patients who consulted in the Unit of Plastic Surgery, in a period from November 2016 to November 2017.

Results.

The 60 % were men and the average age of 66 years. The time of evolution from the date of the injury was of 1 to 4 years (40%), mostly derived from Dermatology (80%). In the 70% of the cases were located in the internal edge exclusively; with an average measure of 10 mm (75%). The 60 % were ulcerated carcinoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma. The reconstructions used were the flaps forward V-and in a 30%. The 25% had a prior diagnosis. The 15% had bruises in the immediate postoperative period and the hospital stay was 24 hours.

Conclusion.

All the repair techniques used proved to provide satisfactory functional and cosmetic results, and are highly recommended for the reconstruction of a wide variety of defects of the inner edge and surrounding areas.
