SUMMARY Colon cáncer is a common disease in our country, being obstructive presenting a common cause of presentation, reflecting the patient’s late presentation. The aim of this study is to analyze the percentage of presentation obstructive colon cancer in the General Surgery Service Itauguá National Hospital between 2005-2009. This study concluded that 42% of cases with obstructive picture debut requiring emergency surgery.
