Abstract

MIRANDA, Christian; BORTOLATTO, Léia  and  ESPINOLA, Federico. PERCUTANEOUS DRAINAGE OF SUBHEPATIC COLLECTION POST CHOLECYSTECTOMY. Rev. Cir. Parag. [online]. 2012, vol.36, n.2, pp.33-35. ISSN 2307-0420.

SUMMARY Postoperative abdominal collections in cholecystectomies fortunately are rare, and often lacking clinical significance. Low percentages gain enough volume to cause symptoms that require treatment and drainage. Currently the method of choice for treating intraabdominal collection is the percutaneous minimally invasive. We report the case of a patient operated with a collection post postsurgical resolution screen guided percutaneous drainage under ultrasound and literature review.

Keywords : abdominal collection; percutaneous drainage.
