The experiment was conducted at the Plant Pathology division, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, National University of Asunción, from June to October 2012 with the aim of evaluating the effect of extracts of Garlic (Allium sativum), Yvope (Gleditsia amorphoides), Mint (Mentha piperita), Chinese grass (Boehmeria nivea) and their mixture on tomato plants Pytã porã in Greenhouse to control the disease Damping off, produced by the fungus Rhizoctonia solani The experimental design was completely randomized blocks with 12 treatment y 4 replication. The Treatments were made up of the pure juice vegetable extracts, mixture, the fungicide Carbendazim 50% and water as a witness. In the Greenhouse the tomato seeds were sown in commercial substrate inoculated with rice seeds contaminated with Rhizoctonia solani, the evaluated variables were the incidence of the Damping off disease on tomato plants, plant height, leaf number and principal root length. The pure extracts of Garlic, Yvope, Mint and Chinese grass controlled the Rhizoctonia solani Damping off disease on tomato plants. The Carbendazim 50% witness had the better control and the water witness the worth with the highest incidence of diseased plants. The Garlic + Mint mixture extracts treatments had the better average heights plants and leaf number. Also these treatments had showed the better root growth.
