Abstract: The objective of the present article is introductory to describe the existence of a ramification of International Public Law dedicated to border´s integration: the Border´s Integration Law. Initially it is needed to explore the approach about borders in International Law, in the delimitation of states territories, and the ways to its resignification in the integration´s sense. The paper is divided into two parts, beginning through the “Law and the Borders”, passing by the “Border´s Integration” in the second, approaching the 2019 “MERCOSUR Linked Border Localities Agreement”. The international normative base to promote cooperation and border integration is established, but the challenges must reside in the compatibility between the facilitation of mobility and security risks, which must mobilize the legal harmonization of the MERCOSUR States and the political will in various instances.
