This documentary, descriptive and analytical research proposes to explain the characteristics and legal foundations of Central American economic integration as well as the organization of its institutional structure. In this sense, the founding treaties, the Central American community law, the jurisprudence of the Central American Court of Justice, the theory of international regimes and certain principles of public international law were examined, in order to consolidate and illustrate the objectives proposed by the Central American economic integration.
