Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Marcus Vinícius Xavier de. The Right to Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The principle of interdependence as a parameter for the creation and maintenance of public policies. Rev. secr. Trib. perm. revis. [online]. 2021, vol.9, n.17, pp.14-30. ISSN 2304-7887.  https://doi.org/10.16890/rstpr.a9.n17.p14.

This work was structured on some objectives. The first was to prove that the Right to Development is realized in the form of Sustainable Development, whose understanding was made possible by the principle of interdependence. The second was to describe the relationship between the Right to Development and public policies, especially those aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, whose description and purpose were carried out in the third topic, having adopted the theme of gender discrimination as a paradigm in the labor market. Finally, it is concluded that there is a need for States in general, and Brazil in particular, to adopt and / or reinforce public policies that give effectiveness to their international obligations derived from the Sustainable Development Goals. The research method was critical and the procedure was bibliographic consultation.
