This work aims to carry out an analysis of the application of data protection regulations in educational centers. More specifically, it is aimed at developing a proposal for personal data collection instruments for schools. This objective will be addressed through a legal study and a subsequent analysis of the documents used for this purpose in five schools in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

The application of these rules deserves special attention when we refer to educational centers, since most of the personal data that is processed belongs to minors. For this reason, doubts may arise, such as, for example, what are the limits for data processing? Who can give consent to process personal data of minors? What data can be required in educational centers? What requirements must the data collection documents meet? Throughout the work, these and other questions will be addressed until the necessary information is obtained to make the proposal of data collection instruments for educational centers.
