Abstract

The purpose of this research was to demonstrate whether Covid-19 influenced the finances of interprovincial transportation companies in a region of southern Peru. The qualitative methodology, phenomenological technique and the instrument applied was the structured and unstructured interview. Through the exchange of opinions, the following categories and subcategories were identified: financial commitment, liquidity problems and solutions. The managers of the companies and owners of the mobile units identified strategies such as saving the balances of the money collected; having other sources of income, acquiring a business dedicated to another line of business. Solutions regarding the company's liquidity, so that they can progressively cover their expenses without difficulty.
