The coronavirus pandemic has placed greater emphasis on the human mobility binomial, both foreigners and Ecuadorians, due to its devastating impact. The number of migrants has plummeted, disrupting dreams and plans. The article analyzed human mobility during the pandemic and its effects in Ecuador. For its development, the bibliographic method was applied that theoretically explains diverse information obtained from reliable sources, such as SciELO, Elsevier, Scopus, Latindex, Dialnet, Redalyc, etc. Migration passes through the contexts of political and legal alliance, between the people and the State, creating rights and obligations, but at the same time, conceptualizing the classic power over freedom, nationality and their basic rights (birth, education, work, health, etc.). The oppression of human mobility requires processes of legalization of migrants to the chosen country and to avoid hiding, the achievement of inclusion, respect for their culture and the low rate of discrimination of universal public rights among people.
