Abstract

The present study was focused on Early Childhood Education and was carried out between the years 2017-2019 in Via Fund Transfer (VTF) Kindergartens located in Padre Las Casas, Araucanía Region, Chile. A participatory action research study was developed for two years to analyze the influence of the Chilean Early Childhood Education Quality Management Model on leadership practices and management of educational processes in these types of organizations. As this is an action research study, the participatory methodology was applied to carry out a process of transformation, change, and continuous improvement in each establishment. The stages of the study focused on a diagnosis elaboration, the formulation of a support intervention proposal and its implementation, and an evaluation and feedback process. As a result of this research work, it was possible to establish the foundations, in each educational institution, to develop the self-regulation capacity and the development of quality practices that promote the building of learning teams.
