The present acticle had with objective to reflect about the lidership as an opportunity for the Education Management, whereas leadership is based on the culture of the organization, the processes of fundamental changes for the transformation of Educational Management, highlighting the importance of being a leader who cares about the reality of education that has sufficient tools to make arrangements that allow interpersonal relationships, achieving improvements with actions of interest to Educational Institutions.Books, scientific articles and other documents of interest have been selected that have helped to interpret two aspects as a central theme, starting with the role of Leadership in Education, emphasizing that each one from their functions helps to fulfill their work, to achieve goals set in pursuit of an education focused on equity and quality, in addition the types of leadership were analyzed. Through this research, a new type of leadership was created called “LiderazgoTekoverã” (Leadership for life), which allows the student to be trained in values, in order to prepare and acquire the necessary tools to interact with society.
