In this paper, a study will be carried out on the exploitation of natural resources found on the Moon, mainly regolith or lunar dust, focused on determining whether the regulation in the Space Treaty and the Moon Agreement allows its exploitation, as well as the legal problems that may arise regarding the ownership of that asset, and its commercialization. It will also analyze the future consequences that may trigger the exploitation of natural resources as a consequence of the evolution of space missions to the Moon.
