Abstract

DIAZ-YANEZ, Myriam  and  SANCHEZ-SANCHEZ, Gerardo. The Pre-Service Teacher and the Classroom Planning Process. Rev. Int. Investig. Cienc. Soc. [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.1, pp.31-55. ISSN 2226-4000.  https://doi.org/10.18004/riics.2020.junio.31-55.

The aim of the research is to describe how the pre-service teachers from a regional university, facing their professional practicum process, solve or develop their lesson planning. From a qualitative point of view (Flick, 2007), the research design was made through a documental analysis of 51 lesson plans prepared by elementary pre-service teachers. Also, the corresponding analysis of content y presented.

The results show a conception of the teaching work mainly stuck to parameters of technical rationality, which is represented in a structure-centered lesson planning, which does not care for relevant aspects of the teaching-learning process centered in the student, his needs and interests. However, it is possible to observe some improvements in this field, the general practice is not able to move away from the structure. Nevertheless, the results verify a pre-service teacher who is capable to solve one of the requirements of the teaching work, that is to say, the lesson planning, from still incipient foreseen conceptual points of view, which do not tune to the complexities of the teaching practice.
