The present study describes the impact of the TEKOPORÃ program in the social policy of Paraguay for the reduction of poverty and improvement of the quality of life. It is justified in consideration of the fact that Social Policy is constituted in rights and obligations of the population within the framework of their particular needs such as Health, Education, Housing and etc. In order to achieve this analytical goal, the methodological parameters of a descriptive, non-experimental research, a survey with a quantitative approach and an interview with a qualitative approach are taken into account.

The results of this study have reflected that the TEKOPORÃ program in the national social policy is framed in the access to the public services of education, health, housing, fundamentally. Through the strengthening of this type of social programs, it has been sought to guarantee the population of disadvantaged sectors an improvement in their quality of life in recent years.
