Abstract

The theory related to the capital earned a significant space in discussions of national periodicals facing the administration area. However, research related to capital organisational are still poorly distributed. To this end, this research aims at identifying the discussions related to the capital within the organization, based on publications in journals indexed in the Brazilian system Qualis/CAPES in administration, accounting and tourism in the indices A1, A2 and B1 in the last 10 years. Given this context, this research is descriptive qualitative approach configures through use of the software NVivo 10. Analyses of categorization and measurement of a set of factors (groups and networks, trust and solidarity, collective action and cooperation, Information and communication, social cohesion and inclusion, authority, empowerment and political action) related to the existence of the capital social based on World Bank, 2003. Through research, we found that national publications related to the capital organizational tend to discuss the theory with a focus on scale structural (networks and groups) of the relations within the organization. Finally the research shows the need for a deeper dimension in cognitive, in order to understand the characteristics of the actors present in the social environment of the organization
