Abstract

LEITE BOTELHO, José Maria; DO AMARAL COUTO, Boanerges  and  DUARTE MASI, Sergio. Environmental education and critical theory of education: some relevant considerations. Rev. Int. Investig. Cienc. Soc. [online]. 2014, vol.10, n.1, pp.75-90. ISSN 2226-4000.

Presents some reflections regarding the theory and practical, on the performance of social actors who, in different contexts had engaged themselves in the construction of an identity interdisciplinar and to stimulate insertion of the ambient education (EA) in school education. In relation to the basic education, and perspective of the insertion of the EA in classroom, one understands that all the areas of knowledge as well as all its curricular components present rich in ambient subjects and idle spaces between the curricular components. It is considered possibility of use of these spaces for insertion of ambient subjects capable to provide conditions of deepening, contextualização and diversification of study chances and new learnings in EA. It is suggested as starting point, work to interdisciplinar that involve classroom, school and community. In superior education the EA not yet is claimed as component obligator in the resumes of the courses.
