The processes of evaluation and accreditation of career courses involve a wide amount of resources that stimulate changes in the operation thereof, the faculty and the university itself. In the current university system of Paraguay, quality is understood as a continuous increase added value, so in the process of assessment and accreditation by the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education, and the Regional Accreditation System for Careers in MERCOSUR, ARCUSUR, when evaluating a degree also requires the assessment of component "Library”. Of all the libraries under study only a few has an opinion from the Evaluation Peers and Improvement Plan and there is not a figure of an official notification of the results or if there is one, it is handled in very tight circles.
