Abstract: A device is proposed to think about social vulnerability and the risk of housing for the health. To this effect, housing variables are linked to social context variables. This relationship enables the identification of risk reduction feasible and efficient measures, based on the ability or adjustment to certain circumstances according to the community´s achieved level. This turns out in the creation of a diagnostic methodology called "Diagnosis of Housing Risk for Health" - DRVS- and the associated software called "Housing Risk for Health" - RVS v. 2.1, based on neural networks and diffuses variables. DRVS, the software RVS v. 2.1 and its application are introduced in the city of Asunción.
