Abstract: The article exposes partial results of a research project centered in family violence during pregnancy, childbirth, and puerperal stage in adolescent women. The field work was performed at the Adolescence, Pediatrics, and Neonatology Service Room of Internment of a public hospital and a health centre in Buenos Aires Area during 2007. The article is based on individual semi-structured interviews to 27 adolescents. The topics discussed are: parent´s gender models from the adolescent point of view, adolescent´s gender models, distribution of domestic tasks within the family, the role of social networks and community, attitudes related with pregnancy and personal projects.
