Abstract

This paper aims to report a pedagogical experiment conducted in-SERTA Alternative Technology Service, with students of Informatics and Health Registry, the State Technical School Humberto José Cavalcanti de Moura in Limoeiro-PE. The research has as its core reference work for pedagogical projects, relating mathematical content with the policy of sustainable development in the appreciation of the environment, worked as guides in developing strategies and procedures of teaching and learning. The construction of the theoretical framework aims to discuss the construction of logico-mathematical knowledge, emphasizing the importance of the environment, using procedures interdisciplinary, allowing students to interact with extra-curricular proposal that seeks to enhance the earth, man's relationship with the environment and Mathematics teaching in order to enrich the students' cognitive processes involved in the teaching of mathematics related to the environment.
