Abstract

JERI, JC et al. INFLUENCE OF REFRIGERATION TIME ON ANTIBODIES TITRE IN CHICKEN SERUM. Compend. cienc. vet [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.1, pp.46-50. ISSN 2226-1761.  https://doi.org/10.18004/compend.cienc.vet.2019.09.01.46-50.

The present study aimed the refrigeration effect, for 11 days, of Coob500 chicken serum with 4 weeks of age for New Castle; with this to determine if changes in the antibody titer occur through the HI technique. The treatments (T) were three for sample analyzes: on day 1 (T1), day 6 (T2) and day 11 ( T3). The dependent variable was the serological titration of chickens antibodies. The results were obtained and for means analysis, was done by ANOVA with 95% of significance, to determine if there are statistical differences between treatments. Finally, it was determined that the titration of antibodies between treatments was similar to each other (p<0.05). It can be concluded that the value of the evaluated titers did not change between the days of evaluation, being able to make such evaluation until day 11 after their collection in samples at 4 °C.
