He proceeded to feed them for 90 days with a ration containing 2% diatomaceous earth freshwater daily, morning and afternoon. Food supply was made at the rate of 1.5% by weight of each animal. They could be observed the following results: In the initial sampling (0), an average of 5,483 EPG parasite load is observed. and the final sample (9), with an average of 137 EPG parasitic load, showing a statistically significant decrease in the parasite load (p<0.05).
