ABSTRACT. An endotoxic shock and necrotizing fasciitis case is described in this research, occurred in an English Bulldog, male, 8 months of age, suffered sudden death caused by Streptococcus ß hemolytic. Necrotizing fasciitis is a grave infection of subcutaneous tissue and uncommon in dogs. It progress rapidly causing extensive necrosis tissue areas. Streptococcus spp. conform an opportunistic pathogens group that normally reside in the upper airway, intestines, lower urinary and genital tract from dogs of all ages, which can cause infection and even lethal septic cases.
