ABSTRACT. The research was conducted in the Experimental Rabbit Farm Division of the Veterinary Science Faculty, at San Juan Bautista Misiones, in order to determine weight gain in rabbits in grow-finish stage, fed with craft and commercial feed, with 60 days of duration. Were selected 30 female rabbits, randomly divided into two treatments, 15 animals each. Treatment 1 (witness) was fed with 100% commercial feed, and Treatment 2 was fed with 100% craft feed. Commercial feed treatment gave 2,600 g weight gain, and craft feed treatment gave 3,200 g; both groups began the experiment with 500 g average weight. Results were subjected to Student test analysis, yielding a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05).
