The results obtained through a Spanish version of the New Ecological Paradigms scale with the participation of 281 athletes from urban areas (AU), semiurban areas (ASU) and natural areas (AN) of Paraguay are presented. Exploratory interviews were carried out, a reliability analysis, descriptive and factorial analysis of the items of the scale. The results obtained an acceptable score for the reliability test (Cronbach 0.749) and good scores for the tests of sphericity and sampling adequacy (0.823 and < 0.001). By analyzing the principal components, 2 factors can explain together almost 50% of the variance, these factors correspond to the Ecocentricand Anthropocentric dimensions.
