We present the results of observations and descriptions of the sedimentological characteristics and stratigraphic positioning of the occurrences of diamictitic sedimentary rocks outcropping in two adjacent quarries of the locality of Takuruty, Villeta, Central Eastern Paraguay; These manifestations of glacígenos deposits, belong the Boquerón Formation, that is located in the Ordovician-Silurian interval constituting like a hiatus between the Groups Caacupé and Itacurubí. The textural characteristics and identified sedimentary structures indicate a variable environment in the glacial stages during the Ordovician-Silurian limit, which affected the regional level in the western portion of Gondwana.
