As a result of systematic sampling, trying to cover extensively and equally the exposure area of Asunción Group at its eastern margin, it has been verified the presence of fresh water which belongs to Patiño Aquifer potable for human consume as predominant. Likewise, it has been recognized wells with subterrain brakish water, with physicochemical characteristics of chaqueños aquifers in Region Oriental, on San Miguel bank in Asunción and on the NW riverside sector in the city of Limpio. Determining middle values of electric conductivities and pH, which characterizes both aquifers on a thin belt with direction ENE-WSW; it is considered as geography of interdigitation between both aquifers and consequent salinization of Patiño Aquifer.
