Resumen

GOMEZ, José María  y  DONCEL, Fredy. Complete prediction of the solar cycle 24 through the combined method. Rep. cient. FACEN [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.1, pp.3-9. ISSN 2222-145X.  https://doi.org/10.18004/rcfacen.2019.10.1.3.

In this work, solar activity is studied by tracking sunspots. Observation records were made at the astronomical observatory Prof. Alexis Troche for the period 2007-2010. One of the objectives of the present work was to determine the scale factor. Our results suggest that the minimum solar activity occurred in November 2008. This minimum allowed us to estimate the maximum for cycle 24. Applying the combined method, it was possible to predict the complete evolution of the present solar cycle.

Palabras clave : Sunspots; solaractivity,solarcycle.
