Abstract
GIMENEZ SENA, Fernando. MODELO DE ECUACIONES ESTRUCTURALES PARA DESCRIBIR EL EFECTO DE FACTORES DE EXCLUSIÓN SOCIAL: A MODEL OF STRUCTURAL EQUATIONS TO DESCRIBE THE EFFECT OF THE FACTORS OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION. Rep. cient. FACEN [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.1, pp.33-45. ISSN 2222-145X.
The social exclusion processes are consequence of the correlated action of several factors in which individual or group of them are left out from economical, political and institutional benefits commonly accessed by the population. Those relationships can be described using structural equation modeling, whose parameters are estimated using partial least squares. Results show that any single factor alone has strong effect; however, the socio-economical factor has clear effect over the economical exclusion, and the socio-political factor appears to be of larger effect as political and institutional exclusion.
Keywords : structural equations; partial least squares; social exclusion; exclusion factors.
