Abstract

ALEGRE BRITEZ, Miguel Ángel. Relevant aspects of techniques and instruments in qualitative research. Poblac.Desarro. [online]. 2022, vol.28, n.54, pp.93-100. ISSN 2076-054X.  https://doi.org/10.18004/pdfce/2076-054x/2022.028.54.093.

The analysis of the different techniques and instruments used in qualitative research leads to the common denominator of strategies. Research through interviews, observations, focus groups, etc., does not have to be carried out for specific purposes. However, for the success of qualitative work, it is necessary to adapt the procedures to the problems of the object of study. Regarding the methodology of this work, the approach was qualitative, the method was inductive-deductive, the scope was descriptive, the design was narrative and documentary. In this study, a process of reflection and conceptualization of the topic of qualitative research was undertaken. In addition, it is possible to appreciate and evaluate how the tools used by qualitative research influence the reflection process and the results obtained in a methodological context. As a data collection technique, the analysis of the literature was used through the content analysis of scientific articles and other research works searched in academic repositories. The data was processed in Microsoft Word 365. As a result, a qualification of the qualitative data collection techniques and instruments is proposed by levels from 1 to 4 for the purpose of their under- standing by complexity.
