This research collects contributions from successful cases of Technology Parks in Paraguay and the region, in order to form an idea about how they could be established, attract companies and access markets with products based on knowledge and innovation.The main objective of this work is to describe the key success factors for the implementation of Technology Parks in Paraguay, which includes the strategic aspect, the market, the necessary infrastructure and the management or administration thereof, as well as the financial aspects. To reach the proposed objective, a literature review was made, appealing to primary and secondary information sources, then a qualitative exploratory investigation, with field work, consisting of surveys directed to a selected group of important referents and specialists of the university, the government and the private sector, related to the Technology Parks. This research allows us to have a vision of the current reality and to put in perspective the future of them. The unique contribution of this research is to continue promoting initiatives of Technology Parks and technology transfer centers in Paraguay to become a catalyst for innovation and driver of development and competitiveness.
