This research analyzes the efficiency of the educational service offered by the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Asuncion (FCE-UNA), 2007-2013. The main objective is to evaluate the efficiency of the education service to develop a proposal for a better allocation of financial and material in the same human resources. The data used comes mainly from the statistics compiled by the Directorate General of Planning and Development of the Rector of the UNA, as well as the report of the Research and Extension FCE. The estimated efficiency indices of the programs offered by the FCE, according to the allocation of resources is performed using the methodology of data envelopment analysis (DEA for its acronym in English) through the CCR and BCC models. Also a brief historical review of the institution as an integral part of A is performed. The results obtained show that, in the allocation of resources, the level of efficiency for the Faculty of Economics together is around 94% for the period. In addition, the estimated scale efficiency indicates that racing will have more efficient resource allocation make adjustments in their planning in the process, which ultimately has a positive effect on its efficiency in the short, medium and long term.
