Introduction:

atypical manifestations due to the Chikungunya virus are rare, appearing mainly in older adults and infants, it occurs at the extremes of life, the frequency ranges from 9 % - 33 %. Mortality is high.

Objective:

to present 4 patients with atypical manifestations attributed to Chikungunya virus infection, admitted to the Department of Internal Medicine and the Adult Emergency Department of the National Hospital in February-March 2023.

describe the atypical manifestations of 4 patients after CHIKV infection reported in the literature. Some manifestations were neurological, cardiovascular, cutaneous, ocular, renal, and others.
