Abstract

Introduction:

the perception health service users is one of the techniques to measure is quality.

Objectives:

to determine satisfaction level of patients at discharged from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the National Hospital in 2018.

Methodology:

the SERVQUAL questionnaire was applied to women discharged from the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department between August and September of 2018.

Results:

203 patients with a mean age of 31 ± 11 years old entered the study. The mean of the questionnaire was 5.3 ± 0.5. Applying the 60th percentile, the frequency of satisfaction was observed in 82 patients (40%). The strengths of the Department were the dimensions of responsiveness and safety while the weakest point was the tangibility dimension (aspects of the rooms, signaling and meals served). No risk factor was significantly associated with dissatisfaction.

Conclusion:

the frequency of satisfaction was 40%.
