The congenital epulis of the newborn is a benign tumor, pedunculated, with a hard consistency and variable size rare, oral and of presentation that has a predilection for females. It is usually located in the anterior and superior maxilla. In case of big size it can interfere with feeding and can cause difficult neonatal feeding. Surgical resection is the best treatment. In this paper we presents a case and a review of the literature.
