Introduction:
The quality of life is the way in which an individual perceives his position in life, through his full realization as a person. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic, immunological pathology, whose evolution produces a disability in the individual who suffers it and therefore certain deterioration in the quality of life of the same.
Objective:
To describe the level of quality of life in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who come to the Central Hospital of the Social Security Institute. September 2017.
Material and methods:
Observational, descriptive cross-sectional study, carried out in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who attended their clinical consultations in the Rheumatology Service of the Central Hospital of the Social Security Institute in the month of September of the year 2017.
Results:
The average score for the Quality of Life level is 48, which corresponds to a regular level of quality of life as established in the scoring scale of the SF-36 Health Questionnaire use manual.
Conclusions:
Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis who come to the Central Hospital of the Social Security Institute, their regular level of quality of life.
