Phyllodes Tumors are rare mammary pathologies with stromal and epithelial histology, dividing into benign, borderline or malignant. They develop more frequently in patients between 35-55 years of age, representing 0.3% -1% of primary breast tumors. Clinically they are characterized by the appearance of a painless, firm, multilobed and fast-growing mass that can reach a large size, being called giants when they exceed 10 cm in diameter.
The diagnosis is made with the anatomopathological study by radio guided biopsy and breast imaging tests. The treatment of choice is conservative or radical surgery, with disease-free resection margins, greater than 1 cm, and adjuvant radiotherapy on the tumor bed. We present the case of a patient with giant malignant Phyllodes Tumor of the left breast, with excision with margin of safety and immediate reconstruction.
