ABSTRACT Metabolicdisorderscausedbychronic renal failure and dialysisforitstreatment can lead to theprecipitation of calciumphosphatesaltswiththeconsequentformation of tumors in variouslocations. These can be single ormultiple, and may cause obstruction and compression of differentanatomicalstructureswithconsequentfunctionalalteration. Althoughtheclinicalmanagement of theabovementionedalterationsis fundamental, thesurgeryacquiresrelevance in thesesituations. Wepresent a case of unique tumoral calcinosis located in the anterior third of the nasal septum, causingobstruction of the nasal fossa. Computedtomographyguided diagnosis and complete tumor resectionby nasal routewasthetreatmentchosen. Thepathologicalanatomyreportconfirmsthe diagnosis of tumor calcinosis. At ninemonths post-operativefollow-up therewas no evidence of tumor recurrence. Key Words: calcinosis tumoral-insuficiencia renal crónica, hemodiálisis, septum nasal tratamiento.
