Abstract
BARUA CAFFARENA, A. A contribution to the construction of the participatory at Community health: Social Erotica. An. Fac. Cienc. Méd. (Asunción) [online]. 2014, vol.47, n.2, pp.71-84. ISSN 1816-8949.
ABSTRACT A series of problematizations about community participation in peripheral urban marginalized contexts is shared here. The reflections stems from primary care and community mental health practices, particularly from the urban marginalized low lands ("bañados") in Asunción, Paraguay. For the participative processes in such sociodemographic and territorial contexts, the notion of Social Erotica raises as an elaborate form of expertise to highlight, the importance of vitalizing the participative process in health, by the sanitary workers' practice of joy, acknowledgment, validation, incorporation and celebration of urban marginalized popular social sectors. The proposal is supported from vignettes of experiences in four constructing areas of social erotica: the festive, the artistic, the humorous and the playful. In general, the text proposes an ethical, political and affective construction for the territorial sanitary practices in contexts of high social injustice. Key Words: Community Mental Health, Community Participation, Urban periphery Clinitaria, Social Erotica.
