ABSTRACT Donovanosis is a rare infection caused by Calymmatobacteriumgranulomatis that produces important ulcerous-granulomatous lesions, mainly in the anogenital area. Considered a sexually transmitted disease, this is not the only route of transmission, being also important hygienic conditions, socioeconomic and environmental conditions in its pathogenesis. It affects tropical areas of several continents, including the Americas, where there are series described in several countries. In Paraguay little has been reported, so this series of four young female indigenous patients from various ethnic groups, with lesions in anogenital area is important. The aim of this paper is to draw attention to a problem that causes significant morbidity and to improve health coverage and living conditions in these communities. Keywords: Donovanosis, Granuloma inguinale, Vulvarulcer
