ABSTRACT Nowadays little is known realitu on the reality of the person who feel attraction towards the same sex; but innovations are arising in the knowledge of the psycho-social grounds, the prevention an the therapeutics in homosexuality. Researches are quetioned about the responsibility of the intermediate nucleus of the anterior hypothalamus as well as the genetic and hormonal studies that they predispose the homosexuality from birth. In personalistic focus homosexuality is considered a deviation Sexual and a neurosis. The American Psychiatric Association has eliminated in the year 1973 the Homosexuality as disorder, but present-day investigations have seen that he constitutes a neurosis and a upset acquired of the sexual pulsión. The causal social psico of homosexuality like the dysfunctional family, the individual characteristics, the social and cultural causes explain ample and numerous studies.The treatment and the return to the true heterosexual essence is possible in a cognitive focus, conductual and interpersonal, accompanied of a process of spiritual and religious growth. The respect to the person that has attraction toward the same sex is considered in the ethical aspect; But do not put up with the justification or relativization of the homosexual act. The homosexual proceedings are opposite to the natural law. They do not come from a true affective and sexual complementarity and they are not open to the gift of life.
