      Introduction: the excessive consume of alcohol in school of Asunción, is a problem with multiple cause. In order to find the solution, is important to know the problem.       Objectives: determine consume of alcoholic drinks prevalence, in students of public and private school. Find if there’s a difference, about consume of alcohol, between public and private school.       Materials and methods: carrying out an inquiry, target on students between 14 and 18 years old, based on the alcohol consume.       Results: 88% (983/1114) of the students are alcohol consumers. The girls represent 50,76% (499/983) and the boys 49,24% (484/983). They start to drink at 13 years old in both kind of school. The 53,9% , has chosen “Beer” over others alcoholic drinks. 37% (364/983) refer that the first drink was proportionate by their parents. When we ask, the reason for them to drink alcohol, 34% answers: “because it makes me happy”. 99% (342/345) of the students, who smoke, also drinks.       Conclusions: There are no differences found in relation to consume of alcohol, in students of private or public school. There’s a big percentages of students under 18 consuming alcohol in Asuncion, no mater the education, the social class, or age, as we can see. To buy an alcoholic drink is as easy as buy a candy.
