Resumo

Since the year 1997 with the detection of human cases caused by the stump avian H5N1, The world health Organization has alerted to the international scientific community about the possible one the threat of a new one pandemic for this century due to the confirmation of the new modality of broadcast of the virus of Influenza to direct bird-man without the intervention of an intermediary guest. In spite of all the effort carried out al present with information brought up to date, training, strengthening of the systems of human caution and avian, sacrifice of thousands of poultry, industrial and wild, the stump H5N1 continuous being spread to such extent that we find us in phase 3 of Warning pandemic with but of a hundred human cases and a lethality of but of the 50% especially in Asia. This situation motivates to the present revision bibliographic of the theme in order to that with the present situation of the epidemic, the orientation of the WHO, the National Plan of Answer, the national actions, like members of the sector health in ours we can assume our role and according to the available resources in the country, coordinating activities multisectorial we can respond of the best possible form minimizing the impact in.
