Abstract

A 35- year-old woman was referred to the eye clinic with a 2-month history of recurrent unilateral conjunctivitis, managed previously by two ophthalmologists with topical antibiotics and ocular lubricants that provided symptomatic transient relief. Clinical- ophthalmological examination revealed a biological foreign body which was removed and antibiotic treatment started with which the patient evolved favorably and the symptoms resolved.
