The assessment guidelines for physical activity, including instructional activity and that related to school sports, prepared by Directorate of Comprehensive Child and Adolescent Health of the Ministry of Public Health and Welfare of Paraguay in coordination with medical societies, institutions for the training of healthcare personnel, and others in the field was approved by SG No. 8 of January 9, 2012 for mandatory application throughout the country. It is directed at healthcare professionals and physical education instructors for the purpose of promoting physical activity, recreational education, and school sports.
